When to book
No discounts here, just timing that saves you trouble.
Standby generators: book in the fall
Winter storms and ice bring the longest outages. Book the site visit early in the fall so the generator is installed and tested before the first storm.
Home inspections: before winter
A full home electrical inspection before the heating season catches worn connections and overloaded circuits while it's still easy to fix them.
Panel upgrades: before the big project
Adding an EV charger, heat pump or basement suite? A panel upgrade booked first keeps the rest of the project on schedule.
Outdoor lighting: before the clocks change
Book outdoor lighting in late summer or early fall, while the ground is soft and before the dark evenings arrive.
About the included surge protection
Why surge protection
A new panel is the best moment to add whole-home surge protection. It's installed at the panel and helps protect the electronics in modern furnaces, appliances and chargers from voltage spikes, whether they come from the utility, a storm, or equipment switching on and off inside the house.
