About us
Marrast Contracting is a family business. Shaldin Marrast, a Master Electrician, leads the work on site, and Netsayi Madziya runs everything around it. Since 2010 we've grown to two crews by doing electrical work properly and treating every client as a long-term partner, not a one-off job.
The team
You'll deal with the two of us from the first call to the final inspection. No call centre, no handoffs to people you've never met.
Master Electrician
Shaldin started his career at Toronto Hydro, where he learned troubleshooting, diagnostics and how to look after customers. More than 15 years later he still leads every Marrast crew on site. What drives him is helping clients build the homes they've been planning, without ever cutting a corner on safety.
Director of Operations
Netsayi is usually the first person you'll speak to. She runs scheduling, quotes, customer care and the design side of a project, with more than 15 years in management, operations and customer relations. What she cares about most is the relationship, long after the job is finished.

Our story
Marrast Contracting began with a vision to redefine the standards in the world of electrical solutions. Rooted in family values and driven by a commitment to excellence, we've grown as a family-owned and operated business, turning many houses into homes and powering countless dreams along the way.
Our mission goes beyond just business. It's about forming a bond with our clients and becoming partners in their journey.
Really, we're not here for the monetary benefits, but to truly help our clients reach their goals, and do the right thing with electrical work by giving the best quality of work and products, and providing the best results with our work.
Homeowners, builders and businesses across the GTA. Tell us about your project.
